Sigma UK reduces professional lenses prices

Sigma UK has announced a reduction in the recommended retail prices of several of its professional lenses. It says that it is the result of securing lower cost prices from its parent company in Japan.

Leica has announced its 31st Oskar Barnack Award for themed photo series.

First prize comes in at €5000, with the first place award for the ‘OB Newcomer Award’ reaching up to €2500.

Sony’s CES 2010 press conference review

Sony’s CES 2010 press conference is now over: the conference mostly revolved around 3D technology as well as statistical reports.

The only cameras released were several announcements concerning video cameras and the revealing of twelve new cyber-shot cameras, as well as the announcement that Sony is making SD memory cards – yes, really.
