Olympus E-P2 officially announced

The new Olympus E-P2 has been officially announced. It is the newer model to the E-P1 (only released earlier this year), both are which Micro Four-Thirds cameras.

The upgrades include the possibility of attaching a new, high-resolution electronic-finder (electronic viewfinder). There are also two more Art filters, AF tracking, and the E-P2 comes in a ‘pearlescent’ black matte finish. It also introduces a new feature: i-Enhance, a colour boosting function.

Apart from that, specs are the almost completely the same as the E-P1. This is Olympus’ second Micro Four-Thirds camera.

It should be around 950 euro and be available some time in January 2010.
